Sentinel Rock Horseback Adventures

“We are based in the Lake Powell area offering horseback rides for all levels of riding ability/experience within Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument.

Horseback riding within Escalante Monument offers outstanding views of the Monument, the renowned Hoodoos, the jaw dropping “Secret Canyon”, and the surrounding desert. Our guides will introduce you to the history of the area.

We would love to share with you this beautiful area from the back of a gentle, exceptionally trained horse.” – Sentinel Rock Horseback Adventures

ABOUT THE RIDES

“All the rides are private or semi-private, and guided. They provide a thorough, hands-on instruction prior to all rides for your safety and enjoyment. A ride may occasionally need to be canceled or rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions.

None of the rides are “nose-to-butt”, “eat dust” trail rides. They tailor the ride depending on your riding ability and provide the opportunity for more challenging and faster rides to experienced riders. The horses’ training is such that they are safe and considerate mounts for novice/slightly apprehensive riders one day and can be equally enjoyed by an experienced equestrian the next.” – Sentinel Rock Horseback
